After the non-binding registration you will be informed automatically by email if a contract suited to your profile is available. The contract description includes the ship type and size, the number of passengers and crew as well as the functions of the ship's doctor and the accommodation available. You also have the option to find out whether someone can accompany you at no extra cost, whether travel costs there and back will be assumed by the shipping company and whether the work as a ship's doctor will be remunerated.
In order to successfully place you, we require a CV in table form, a copy of your personal and professional identification (front and back), a copy of your licence to practice medicine and, if necessary, additional medical qualifications (doctorate, specialist medical certificate, additional qualifications, etc.) as well as special certificates (e.g. fitness for sea service examination, basic safety training), if necessary.
A commission is only applicable if you are successfully placed.
